As you’ve obviously been told many times, this blog is wonderful. My wife (who heard about it on the CHSFS Ethiopia Discussion Forum) are blessed and encouraged by your pursuit of respectful and honoring information for your son (esp. your trip South). We were unable to make a similar trip as we were there during a politically tense time (and as first-time parents adopting 6 month old twins…we may not have ventured out anyway. We were in ‘quick-learn’ mode.)
Anyway, the reason for my comment is to ask if we could use some of your landscape photos (in the “Trip South - Views” post) and a couple flower photos for a scrapbook we’re creating for our twins. In the “ABC’s”, “E is for Ethiopia” and we would love to use some of your spectacular photos to highlight Ethiopia’s beauty. I certainly would understand if you refuse, but IF you are open to that, could you email some of them to me at runmat@bethel.edu (the online versions are low resolution and probably wouldn’t print well)?
Thanks for considering my request and blessings to your beautiful family! –Matt Runion (runmat@bethel.edu)

I just wanted to tell you that I LOVE your site! You have had me rolling so many times, my co-workers believe that I have lost my mind!
Thank you for all of your insights and helpful hints! We travel in December to pick up our son from the CHSFS care center. We are SO excited and your information has been invaluable.
Thank you!
Andrea
